I have been a therapeutic bodyworker for over 17 years.  A graduate of LifePath School of Massage Therapy, Peoria, Illinois, with over 1,000 hours of continuing education credits, I have been licensed in the state of Texas since 2003.  I offer a variety of modalities and specialize in Craniosacral Therapy, SomatoEmotional Release and NeuroMuscular therapy, working with infants, children, teens and adults. As my practice has changed along with the times, I am finding I am working more with expecting mothers, new born infants children and special needs children.

People ask me how and why I choose this profession.  Nineteen years ago I was a training director for a fast paced computer firm providing corporate training and development.  I loved teaching and helping people understand how computers could enhance their job capabilities.  However, I spent long hours traveling and working, burning the candle at both ends.  As a result, I became very unbalanced, not really quite happy with the results of my input into others lives, and stressed to the max!

I finally decided to use a massage therapy gift certificate I had received.  During one of my sessions I found myself examining my purpose in life.  I asked myself the question, "What do I want to do with the rest of my life, there has to be something more..."  As I allowed the question to resonate within my body, and "soul search", I found the answer!  I knew that my body was “acting out” due to its imbalances, I didn’t understand that giving was just as important as receiving, learning to stop and listen to my body allowed me that "‘moment in time" to reflect on what I really wanted to do with the rest of my moments in time.  I then knew that I wanted to help people at a deeper level in this field of work.  I wanted to help teach people how to slow down and nurture their own spirit, to heal from the inside out, to tune into their body; emotionally mentally, physically and spiritually.  And so my journey began into my own healing, and living the truth of what I wanted and needed to do with my own life.

I am very passionate about my profession and the quality of work that I provide to my clients.  My intentions are to guide and assist my clients to find the right combination of therapies for their healing process.
